Michael Dugan 

Michael Dugan is an accomplished surety bonding broker with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Michael began his career at global broker Willis and has since developed a reputation as a trusted advisor to contractors seeking to navigate the complexities of surety bonding.

Throughout his career, Michael has helped countless small and emerging contractors navigate the complex world of surety bonding. He regularly provides guidance to contractors on how to get bonded, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in the challenging construction business. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events, where he shares his insights on important topics such as balance sheet protection and profitability.

In addition to his work as a surety bonding broker, Michael is also a respected thought leader in the construction industry. He has authored numerous articles on bonding-related topics, including "Liquidity Ratios for Contractors" and "Using Your ROI to Find Your Company's Profitability." His work has been widely read and cited by contractors and industry experts alike.

He is active in various industry associations on both a local and a national level, including the Associated General Contractors, Construction Financial Management Association and American Subcontractors Association of America, among others.

 

Anthony Amicucci 

Anthony Amicucci is compliance services manager for TSIB with more than 17 years’ experience in the construction insurance industry. Anthony manages the compliance goals associated with Federal, State, Local and Private contracts including Small, Economically Disadvantaged Businesses, Workforce Participation and Certified Payroll Review. Contract. He works closely with the owners, agencies and clients tasked reporting M/WBE and Workforce Participation Reporting.

Anthony volunteers significant time with Construction Management Programs supporting small business owners about key construction and insurance trends and supports their efforts to qualify for and bid on large construction jobs. This includes but is not limited to understanding insurance requirements, understanding their costs, how and when to apply for increased insurance coverage/limits, surety-bonding capacity, start-up contract financing, and especially provides new business opportunities. Anthony recognized early the connection between small business success and compliance services.


On the insurance side, TSIB was named the “Broker of Record” for the One Brooklyn Health System, a $668M hospital renovation. OBHS hospital renovation. Anthony procured the General Liability, Excess, Pollution, and
Builder’s Risk insurance coverage. He also worked closely with the law firm Saxe Doernberger & Vita (SDV) conducting a full insurance review for all contractors holding a contract directly with OBHS. Anthony was responsible with meeting directly with any M/WBE interested in participating, building insurance capacity,
and submitting a proper prequalification package to SDV.
