Excel in Construction

This course introduces key tools and functions in Excel and demonstrates how they can be effectively applied in construction - both in the office and in the field. Participants will also explore how Excel integrates with other Office 365 tools and develop practical skills for tasks such as estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting. A handy cheat sheet will also be provided for reference during and after the course. This course will be most beneficial if attendees bring their laptops with Excel. 

This course will cover the following topics:

• Office 365 and Excel integration

• Basic Excel functions and formulas

• Estimating and budgeting with Excel

• Scheduling tasks and timelines

• Data analysis and reporting
