Main Areas of Responsibility
Newly elected Justin M. Bibb is hiring a team of leaders to join the Mayor’s Office in the new administration. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is appointed and serves at the pleasure of the Mayor. The COO plans, organizes, and coordinates the general operation of departments in the municipal service including Public Utilities, Public Works, Capital Projects, and other departments as assigned by the Mayor.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
The COO provides general and specific staff assistance to the Mayor and City Council Members in technical matters and works under general guidance and direction of the Mayor and represents the City as directed.
