The George family plans to move the Harry Buffalo, a sports bar mainstay on East Fourth Street in downtown Cleveland, to make way for a new dining and entertainment concept.

The looming change coincides with the planned launch of a sports-betting lounge at the property, a two-story brick building near the center of the Gateway District. Entrepreneur Bobby George, Bally’s Interactive and the Cleveland Browns announced over the weekend that they are teaming up on the sportsbook project.

That announcement, largely focused on the Ohio debut of the Bally Bet Sportsbook app, was short on details about the hospitality project. During a phone conversation, though, George confirmed that he has a new vision for the Harry Buffalo space.

“There’s going to be nothing like it in the country,” said George, whose Ethos Hospitality Group includes TownHall in Cleveland and Columbus; the Green Goat café in the Superior Arts District; Barley House, Lost Social Club and REBoL downtown; and LYV, an Ohio City wellness center that offers cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other treatments.
