Surveyor - Tradesman
Provides field direction for one or more crews by calculating land boundaries in several locations, creating maps of survey results.
Data collection/record field notes. Read and understand blueprints. Boundary and topographic surveys. Shoot in points/corners. Set stakes for grade/cut/fill. Place offsets for curb staking, manhole locations, etc. Stake out for storm and sanitary sewer lines, building/property corners, etc. Experience/training on TopCon MAGNET software is preferred but not required. While not performing surveyor duties, will be required to do general trades construction work. This Job description is not all inclusive.
Associates Degree in Land Surveying . Well-developed understanding of construction and commercial survey work. Working knowledge of Trimble or TopCon technical software, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations. 1 year experience with AutoCAD, Business Center or CAD equivalent preferred.
