How many years have you worked in the industry? 22 Years 

What attracted you to the construction industry? I like to build things.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Creating and building tangible usable projects that last a lifetime. 

What advice would you give other women considering the construction industry? You CAN do this! Most women have an attention to detail which makes us very suited to the trades. 

What can be done to attract more women to construction? Change the misogynistic culture that is still very prevalent. This starts with the contractors and the culture they create. When employees (men and women) don’t feel protected because of the lack if consequences upon perpetrators, bullying is accepted.

What do you like to do in your free time? Woodworking, gardening, writing, watching movies.
